  1. 1. On Experimental and Theoretical Studies of Dynamics and Particle Production in p+Nucleus and Heavy Ion Reactions

    University dissertation from Division of Cosmic and Subatomic Physics, Department of Physics, Lund University

    Author : Anton B Fokin; Lunds universitet.; Lund University.; [1998]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; heavy-ion collisions; excitation function; subthreshold pion production; collective effects; entropy and chaos production; d p ratio; molecular dynamics; artificial neural networks; multifragmentation; Physics; Fysik; Fysicumarkivet A:1998:Fokin;

    Abstract : Several experiments and theoretical models of intermediate energy heavy ion collision physics are presented in this thesis. Statistical and dynamical aspects of nuclear collisions are widely discussed these days, particularly in connection with the multifragmentation phenomenon and the possible link to a liquid-gas phase transition in the spinodal region of nuclear matter phase diagram. 2. 2. Investigations on Emission Sources in Proton-Nucleus and Nucleus-Nucleus Collisions

    University dissertation from Department of Physics, Lund University

    Author : Johan Mårtensson; Lunds universitet.; Lund University.; [2000]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; High energy interactions; Fysik; Physics; correlation function.; fermion interferometry; t p and d p ratios; target mass dependence; pion angular distribution; pion excitation function; Heavy ion reactions; intermediate energy; cosmic rays; Kosmisk strålning; högenergi;

    Abstract : Emission sources in proton-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions at intermediate energies have been studied. Pion excitation functions from the absolute threshold to 500 MeV have been measured with an ion beam of continuously varying energy with an energy resolution of 1 MeV. READ MORE

  3. 3. Computer simulations of electronic energy transfer and a molecular dynamics study of a decapeptide

    University dissertation from Umeå : Umeå Universitet

    Author : Maria Lindberg; Umeå universitet.; [1991]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Electronic energy transfer; Monte Carlo simulations; two-particle model; GAF-theory; anisotropic systems; fluorescence depolarization ratios; Brownian Dynamics; rotating donors; Molecular Dynamics; peptide; renin inhibitor;

    Abstract : Electronic energy transfer has been investigated in pure donor systems by means of computer simulations. Calculated properties were the probability that the initially excited donor is excited at a time t after the excitation, Gs(t), the mean square displacement of the excitation and different fluorescence observables. 4. 4. Use of feruloyl esterases for chemoenzymatic synthesis of bioactive compounds

    University dissertation from Luleå : Luleå University of Technology

    Author : Io Antonopoulou; Luleå tekniska universitet.; [2017]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Biokemisk processteknik; Biochemical Process Engineering;

    Abstract : Feruloyl esterases (FAEs, EC represent a subclass of carboxylic acid esterases that under normal conditions catalyze the hydrolysis of the ester bond between hydroxycinnamic acids (ferulic acid, sinapic acid, caffeic acid, p-coumaric acid) and arabinose residues in plant cell walls. 5. 5. Studies on Variability in Olanzapine Disposition

    University dissertation from Linköping : Linköping University Electronic Press

    Author : Elisabeth Skogh; Linköpings universitet.; Linköpings universitet.; Östergötlands Läns Landsting.; [2011]

    Abstract : Schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders are chronic conditions with a significant impact on many functions. Positive, negative, cognitive and motor symptoms appear in different degrees and constellations. Antipsychotics are of fundamental importance to reduce symptoms. READ MORE
