  1. 1. Peptide-tagged proteins in aqueous two-phase systems

    Author : Anna Nilsson; Biokemi och Strukturbiologi; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Metabolism; Biokemi; metabolism; Biochemistry; green fluorescent protein; cutinase; tryptophan; Aqueous two-phase system; peptide-tagged protein;

    Abstract : This thesis deals with proteins containing peptide tags for improved partitioning in aqueous two-phase systems. Qualitatively the peptide-tagged protein partitioning could be predicted from peptide data, i.e. partitioning trends found for peptides were also found for the peptide-tagged proteins. READ MORE

  2. 2. High-Resolution Measurement of the 4He(g,n) Reaction in the Giant Resonance Region

    Author : Björn Nilsson; Kärnfysik; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; tagged photons; photonuclear reactions; liquid helium; neutron detectors; liquid scintillators; giant resonances; angular distributions; differential cross sections; total cross sections; Nuclear physics; Kärnfysik; Fysicumarkivet A:2003:Nilsson;

    Abstract : A comprehensive near-threshold 4He(g,n) absolute cross section measurement has been performed at the high-resolution tagged-photon facility MAX-lab located in Lund, Sweden. The 20 < Eg < 45 MeV tagged photons (covering the Giant Dipole Resonance energy region) were directed towards a liquid 4He target, and knocked-out neutrons were detected in a pair of 60 cm x 60 cm vetoed NE213A liquid scintillator arrays. 3. 3. Compton Scattering from the Deuteron at Low Energies

    Author : Magnus Lundin; Lunds universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Compton scattering; photonuclear reactions; deuteron; differential cross sections; 50-70 MeV; polarizability; tagged photons; Nuclear physics; Kärnfysik; Fysicumarkivet A:2002:Lundin;

    Abstract : A series of three Compton scattering experiments on deuterium have been performed at the high-resolution tagged-photon facility MAX-lab located in Lund, Sweden. The 50 < Eg < 70 MeV tagged photons were scattered from a liquid deuterium target and detected simultaneously in three (10"x10") NaI detectors. READ MORE

  4. 4. The (γ,p) reaction in 16O and 18O at Eγ=50 - 70 MeV

    Author : Per Lilja; Lunds universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; 16O γ; Photonuclear reactions; 18O γ; p ; E= 50 - 70 MeV; tagged photons; differential cross sections; Nuclear physics; Kärnfysik; Fysicumarkivet A:2004:Lilja;

    Abstract : A measurement of the reactions 16O(γ,p)15N and 18O(γ,p)17N have been made with tagged photons in the energy range Eγ ≈ 50 – 70 MeV. The protons have been detected in ΔE-E telescopes with silicon strip detectors as ΔE detectors and HPGe crystals as E detectors. READ MORE

  5. 5. Two-body Photodisintegration of ³He

    Author : Martin Karlsson; Kärnfysik; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; differential cross sections; three-nucleon forces; MAX-lab; tagged photons; Nuclear physics; Kärnfysik; Fysicumarkivet A:000;

    Abstract : In a series of experiments using the tagged photon facility at MAX-lab located in Lund, Sweden, the two-body photodisintegration of ³He has been investigated in the photon energy range 14--32 MeV. Differential cross sections of the reaction ³He(g,d) have been measured by detecting deuterons and protons in silicon surface barrier detectors. READ MORE
