    Abstract : Nanosized extracellular vesicles (EVs, ∼30-2000 nm) have emerged as important mediators of intercellular communication, offering opportunities for both diagnostics and therapeutics. In particular, small EVs generated from the endolysosomal pathway (∼30-150 nm), referred to as exosomes, have attracted interest as a suitable biomarker for cancer diagnostics and treatment monitoring based on minimally invasive liquid biopsies. 3. 3. Slow propagation line-based superconducting devices for quantum technology

    Author : Astghik Adamyan; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; superconducting transmission line; electron spin resonance; parametric amplifier; near field scanning microwave microscopy; tunable microstrip resonator;

    Abstract : In the field of circuit quantum electrodynamics (c-QED), the coherent interaction of two-level systems (TLSs) with photons, confined in a superconducting microwaveresonator, opens up new possibilities for quantum computing experiments.This thesis contributes to the expansion of c-QED tool-box with slow propagation line-based solutions for ubiquitous techniques, such as cryogenic Near Field Scanning Microwave Microscopy (NSMM), Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) spectroscopy and Traveling Wave Parametric Amplifier (TWPA). 4. 4. Development of the mineralogical path for geometallurgical modeling of iron ores

    Author : Mehdi Parian; Antti Remes; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Mineralteknik; Mineral Processing;

    Abstract : The demands for more effective utilization of ore bodies and proper risk management in the mining industry have resulted in a new cross discipline called geometallurgy. Geometallurgy connects geological, mineral processing and subsequent downstream processing information together to provide a comprehensive model to be used in production planning and management. Abstract : Light is the primary source of energy on our planet and has been a significant driver in the evolution of human society and technology. Light finds applications in two-dimensional (2D) photolithography and three-dimensional (3D) printing, where a pattern is transferred to a material of interest by ultraviolet (UV) light exposure, and in laser scribing and cutting, where high power lasers are used to pattern the surface of objects or cut through the bulk of the material of interest.
