  2. 2. Climate Change and Industrial Technology Transfer. A Study of Chinese Conditions

    Author : Joakim Nordqvist; Miljö- och energisystem; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Environment; Emissions; China; Development; Bureaucracy; Cement; Miljöteknik; kontroll av utsläpp; pollution control; Environmental technology; Technology management; Sustainability; Policy; Energy; Modernisation;

    Abstract : Motivated by concerns about anthropogenic climate change, this thesis contributes to the better appreciation of mechanisms that would allow actors in China, foreign as well as Chinese, to exert a positive influence on the country's industrial technology status. China is the world's second largest emitter of greenhouse gases - the lions' share of which emanates from industrial and electricity production. READ MORE

  3. 3. Carbon Nanotube Based Interconnect Material for Electronic Applications

    Author : Di Jiang; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []

  4. 4. Integration of Surface Acoustic Wave and Microfluidic Technologies for Liquid-Phase Sensing Applications

    Author : Kiryl Kustanovich; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; IDE; Resonator; SH-SAW; Impedance Spectroscopy; Surface Acoustic Wave; PDMS; LiNbO3; Microfluidics; Sensor;

    Abstract : This thesis discusses a new concept for construction of a novel SAW in-liquid sensor employing surface acoustic wave resonance (SAR) in a one-port configuration. In this concept, the reflective gratings of a one-port SAW resonator are employed as mass loading-sensing elements, while the SAW transducer is protected from the measurement environment, reducing power losses significantly. 5. 5. Wood-fibre composites : Stress transfer and hygroexpansion

    Author : Karin M. Almgren; Kristofer Gamstedt; Véronique Michaud; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Cellulose and paper engineering; Cellulosa- och pappersteknik;

    Abstract : Wood fibres is a type of natural fibres suitable for composite applications. The abundance of wood in Swedish forests makes wood-fibre composites a new and interesting application for the Swedish pulp and paper industry. READ MORE
