  1. 1. Shrinkage cracking of steel fibre reinforced self compacting concrete overlays: test methods and theoretical modelling test methods and theoretical modelling

    University dissertation from Luleå : Luleå tekniska universitet

    Author : Jonas Carlswärd; Luleå tekniska universitet.; [2006]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Structural Engineering; Konstruktionsteknik;

    Abstract : Steel fibres are often applied as crack reinforcement in overlays even though methods for the design with respect to crack widths are not yet available. Thus, the intention was for the research to form a basis for future design of overlays with respect to cracks. A main ambition was to give guidance on e.g. READ MORE

  4. 4. Undrained shear strength in clay slopes - Influence of stress conditions. A model and field test study

    University dissertation from Göteborg : Chalmers tekniska högskola

    Author : Hjördis Löfroth; [2008]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; preconsolidation pressure; piezocone test; slope; model test; consolidation; horizontal stress; clay; undrained shear strength; direct simple shear test; field vane test; field test;

    Abstract : To counteract natural hazards such as landslides, current methods for evaluation of soil properties as a mean for determining the safety level of natural slopes need to be refined. The empirical relationships used for estimation of the undrained shear strength from piezocone and field vane test are based on the stress conditions valid for horizontal ground and normally consolidated or slightly overconsolidated soil. 5. 5. Impediments for Automated Software Test Execution

    University dissertation from Västerås : Mälardalen University

    Author : Kristian Wiklund; Mälardalens högskola.; [2015]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; software engineering; software testing; empirical software engineering; impediments; industrial research; empirical research; test execution; test automation; test execution automation; Computer Science; datavetenskap;

    Abstract : Automated software test execution is a critical part of the modern software development process, where rapid feedback on the product quality is expected. It is of high importance that impediments related to test execution automation are prevented and removed as quickly as possible. READ MORE
