  1. 1. Transparent Conductive Tin Doped Indium Oxide : Characterisation of Thin Films Made by Sputter Deposition with Silver Additive and by Spin Coating from Nanoparticle Dispersions

    Author : Annette Hultåker; Peter van Nijnatten; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Materials science; Materialvetenskap; Materials science; Teknisk materialvetenskap; Solid State Physics; fasta tillståndets fysik;

    Abstract : Thin films of tin doped indium oxide (ITO) were prepared by two different methods: by sputter deposition with silver additive and by spin coating of a nanoparticle dispersion.ITO films doped with ≤ 20 at% of silver were prepared either as homogenous blends of ITO and silver or as intermixed layers. 2. 2. Thin films for indoor air monitoring : Measurements of Volatile Organic Compounds

    Author : Umut Cindemir; Niklasson Gunnar; Claes-Göran Granqvist; Lars Österlund; Magnus Willander; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; gas sensor; thin film; adcanced gas depostion; sputter deposition; nickel oxide; gold nanoparticles; indium tin oxide; acetaldehyde; formaldehyde;

    Abstract : Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the indoor air have adverse effects on the dwellers residing in a building or a vehicle. One of these effects is called sick building syndrome (SBS). READ MORE

  3. 3. Recycling of CIGS solar cells: environmentally friendly approaches for silver and indium recovery

    Author : Ioanna Teknetzi; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []

    Abstract : The increase in electricity produced by solar energy is expected to create an end-of-life photovoltaics (PV) waste problem in the following decades, while their manufacturing waste is already a reality. However, their recycling is still at a primitive stage. READ MORE

  4. 4. Electrical Transport in Nanoparticle Thin Films of Gold and Indium Tin Oxide

    Author : Jesper Ederth; Knut Deppert; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Materials science; Electrical transport; Nanoparticle; Nanocrystalline; Materialvetenskap; Materials science; Teknisk materialvetenskap; English; engelska;

    Abstract : Electrical transport properties of nanoparticle gold films made by the gas evaporation method were analysed using resistivity measurements. Low temperature electrical transport measurements showed a cross-over from a temperature range dominated by inelastic scattering to a temperature range dominated by elastic scattering, presumably by grain boundaries. 5. 5. Flexible and transparent biological electric power sources based on nanostructured electrodes

    Author : Elena González Arribas; Malmö universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Biocatalysis; Biological fuel cells; Biosupercapacitors; Flexible biodevice; Solar biosupercapacitor; Enzymatic fuel cell; Indium tin oxide; Conducting polymer; Non-invasive; Smart contact lens; Sciences;

    Abstract : Portabel medicinteknisk utrustning framträder alltmer som en av de mest lovande metoderna för vårdövervakning och personlig behandling. Förebyggande vård och hantering av kroniska sjukdomar är resurskrävande och en överföring av det konventionella sjukhuscentrerade sjukvårdssystemet till ett individcentrerat vårdsystem skulle vara samhällsekonomiskt gynnsam.
