1. Flexible and transparent biological electric power sources based on nanostructured electrodes
2. Thin films for indoor air monitoring : Measurements of Volatile Organic Compounds
Abstract : Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the indoor air have adverse effects on the dwellers residing in a building or a vehicle. One of these effects is called sick building syndrome (SBS). READ MORE

3. Recycling of CIGS solar cells: environmentally friendly approaches for silver and indium recovery
Abstract : The increase in electricity produced by solar energy is expected to create an end-of-life photovoltaics (PV) waste problem in the following decades, while their manufacturing waste is already a reality. However, their recycling is still at a primitive stage. READ MORE

4. Optical Absorption and Electrical Conductivity in Lithium Intercalated Amorphous Tungsten Oxide Films
Abstract : Optical and electrical properties of electrochemically lithium ion intercalated thin films of x-ray amorphous tungsten oxide made by magnetron sputtering on glass substrates coated with a thin layer of conductive tin doped indium oxide, have been studied. The composition and the density of the films were characterized by the ion beam analysis methods Rutherford Backscattering Spectroscopy and Elastic Recoil Detection Analysis. READ MORE

5. Atomic layer deposition of zinc tin oxide buffer layers for Cu(In,Ga)Se2 solar cells
Abstract : The aim of this thesis is to provide an in-depth investigation of zinc tin oxide, Zn1-xSnxOy or ZTO, grown by atomic layer deposition (ALD) as a buffer layer in Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) solar cells. The thesis analyzes how changes in the ALD process influence the material properties of ZTO, and how these in turn affect the performance of CIGS solar cells. READ MORE
