    Abstract : Dercum’s disease is a rare condition characterised by obesity, chronic pain (>3 months) in the adipose tissue and a number of diffuse associated symptoms, such as fatigue and malaise.     Abstract : Some aspects of the stress response during acute intensive care for severe burns are described and quantified by measuring hormonal and neuroendocrine patterns and relating these to organ function in the short term.
