1. Transport-Layer Performance in Wireless Multi-Hop Networks
Abstract : Wireless communication has seen a tremendous growth in the last decades. Continuing on this trend, wireless multi-hop networks are nowadays used or planned for use in a multitude of contexts, spanning from Internet access at home to emergency situations. READ MORE

2. Anypath Routing for Reducing Latency in Multi-Channel Wireless Mesh Networks
Abstract : Increasing capacity in wireless mesh networks can be achieved by using multiple channels and radios. By using different channels, two nodes can send packets at the same time without interfering with each other. To utilize diversity of available frequency, a channel assignment scheme is required. 3. On some continuous-time modeling and estimation problems for control and communication
Abstract : The scope of the thesis is to estimate the parameters of continuous-time models used within control and communication from sampled data with high accuracy and in a computationally efficient way.In the thesis, continuous-time models of systems controlled in a networked environment, errors-in-variables systems, stochastic closed-loop systems, and wireless channels are considered. 4. Architecting Autonomous Automotive Systems : With an emphasis on Cooperative Driving
Abstract : The increasing usage of electronics and software in a modern automobile enables realization of many advanced features. One such feature is autonomous driving. Autonomous driving means that a human driver’s intervention is not required to drive the automobile; rather, theautomobile is capable of driving itself. READ MORE

5. On Deterministic Models for Gaussian Networks
Abstract : In this thesis we study wireless networks modeled by the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) model. The AWGN capacity region of most network topologies is unknown, which means that the optimal transmission scheme is unknown as well. This motivates the search for capacity approximations and for approximately optimal schemes. READ MORE
