11. Search for Pair-Produced Supersymmetric Top Quark Partners with the ATLAS Experiment
Abstract : Searches for the supersymmetric partner of the top quark (stop) are motivated by natural supersymmetry, where the stop has to be light to cancel the large radiative corrections to the Higgs boson mass. This thesis presents three different searches for the stop at √s = 8 TeV and √s = 13 TeV using data from the ATLAS experiment at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider. READ MORE

12. Top quark and heavy vector boson associated production at the ATLAS experiment : Modelling, measurements and effective field theory
Abstract : The Standard Model (SM) of particle physics describes the elementary particles that constitute matter and their interactions. The predictions of the SM have been confirmed by numerous experimental results. READ MORE

13. Precision Standard Model Phenomenology for High Energy Processes
Abstract : The present status of particle physics is that the Standard Model has been completed with the discovery of theHiggs boson in 2012, but there is a multitude of phenomena in nature which is not accounted for by this model.Researchers are investigating possibilities for detecting new physics at the current particle physics facilities, withthe Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at the frontier. 14. Hunting the Charged Higgs Boson with Lepton Signatures in the ATLAS Experiment
Abstract : This thesis presents searches for a charged Higgs boson (H±) in proton-proton collisions with center-of-mass energies of 7 TeV and 8 TeV, using data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Multiple search channels are used with the common characteristic of at least one charged lepton (electron or muon) that effectively reduces the multi-jet background and is used for efficient triggering. 15. Searches for new phenomena in inclusive and tagged dijet distributions at √s = 13 TeV
Abstract : Dijets are produced in abundance at the Large Hadron Collider as predicted by quantum chromodynamics (QCD). However, several theories beyond the Standard Model of Particle Physics predicts new phenomena, which also result in dijet final states. This thesis presents searches for such new phenomena using different techniques. READ MORE
