1. Robust Control of an Induction Motor Drive
Abstract : This thesis considers robust control of an induction motor drive, consisting of an input filter, a voltage source inverter and one or several induction motors in parallel. The motor torque is here controlled by using the method Indirect Self Control (ISC), and power oscillations between the inverter and the input filter are damped by means of a stabilization controller in an outer feedback loop. 2. Performance analysis of a low-speed high-torque hydrostatic transmission unit
Abstract : This thesis concerns a study of the performance of an industrial low-speed high-torque hydrostatic drive system. This type of hydrostatic transmission is commonly used in continuous operation in a wide range of heavy-duty drive applications. In many applications the transmissions have to compete with e.g. READ MORE

3. Stabilization of an induction machine drive
Abstract : Modern electric trains almost exclusively use inductionmachines fed by voltage source inverters for propulsion. Toreduce external as well as internal disturbances, an LC-filteris inserted between the input terminals of the drive and theinverter. READ MORE

4. Efficiency Analysis of Drive-train for an Electrified Vehicle
Abstract : In this PhD thesis, various solutions to improve the energy efficiency in the electrical drive-train of an electrified vehicle such as modifications of the propulsioninverter or control of the electric machine, are proposed and their benefits arequantified from an energy efficiency point of view. The efficiency analysis isbased on modeling of a power electronics inverter, an electric machine and a battery in various drive cycles for an electrified vehicle. READ MORE

5. Study of Induction Machines with Rotating Power Electronic Converter
Abstract : This thesis investigates a novel induction machine topology that uses a rotating power electronic converter. Steady-state and dynamic performance of the topology is studied to understand its operational principle. Furthermore the potential of improving its efficiency and power factor is investigated.
