21. Cellular toxicity of quinones : Redox- and addition chemistry
Abstract : Quinoid compounds are widely occurring in nature. They have cytotoxic properties and they are also used as antineoplastic agents. The cytotoxic properties can be explained by the ability of quinones to generate active oxygen species by redox cycling, by addition to cellular nucleophiles, and by inhibition of DNA transcription. 22. Clinical and tumour biology studies of Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma : with emphasis on comorbidity, toxicity and outcome
Abstract : Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is curable in around 70% when treated with standard immunochemotherapy R- CHOP (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone). Treatment related toxicity affecting survivors is a clinical problem as well as comorbidities influencing the possibility to give adequate treatment. READ MORE

23. Melanosome transfer, photoreception and toxicity assays in melanophores
Abstract : Many animals such as fish and frogs have developed the ability to change colour of their skin to adapt to the environment or to signal to other individuals. This ability is due to specialised skin cells called melanophores. READ MORE

24. Therapy with 177Lu-octreotate - pharmacokinetics, dosimetry and kidney toxicity
Abstract : 177Lu-octreotate is used for treatment of patients with somatostatin receptor expressing neuroendocrine tumors in some clinics using a standard schedule. Renal and bone marrow toxicity are the main limiting factors. READ MORE

25. Survival and treatment related toxicity in classical Hodgkin lymphoma
Abstract : Treating early-stage classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) by adding radiotherapy to chemotherapy gives better disease control compared to chemotherapy only. With a low median age at diagnosis, the risk from cHL needs to be weighed against the risk of treatment toxicity. READ MORE
