  1. 1. On the Mean Square Error of Transfer Function Estimates with Applications to Control

    University dissertation from Linköping : Linköping University

    Author : Svante Gunnarsson; Linköpings universitet.; Linköpings universitet.; [1986]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Mean square error; Transfer function; Estimation; Applications;

    Abstract : In this report we study the mean square error of transfer function estimates obtained by identification. The model quality is related to the use of models in regulator design, and the properties of affecting the bias part of the mean square error, both in fixed parameter control and adaptive control. 3. 3. Applications of the Complex Modulation Transfer Function on SEA-systems

    University dissertation from Dept. of Engineering Acoustics, LTH, Lund University, P.O.B. 118 SE-221 00 Lund Sweden

    Author : Karl-Ola Lundberg; Lunds universitet.; Lund University.; [1999]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; vacuum technology; hydraulics; Mechanical engineering; modulated noise; in-situ; modulation transfer function; loss factor; SEA; vibration and acoustic engineering; Maskinteknik; hydraulik; vakuumteknik; vibrationer; akustik;

    Abstract : The SEA coupling and dissipation loss factors are determined in-situ from Complex Modulation Transfer Functions, CMTF:s, based on measured impulse-responses. A quotient of CMTF:s is least-square curve-fitted to a SEA model and the SEA loss factors are determined from the results of the curve-fit. READ MORE

  4. 4. Impulse Response Identification Applied to Estimation of Event-Related Potentials and Non-Intrusive Echo Path Analysis

    University dissertation from Dept. of Engineering Acoustics, LTH, Lund University, P.O.B. 118 SE-221 00 Lund Sweden

    Author : Tomas Gänsler; [1996]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Robust; Transfer function; Double-talk; Echo Path; Anaesthesia; Nb-trough; single ERP; Impulse response; Event-related potential; Echo Canceller; Signal processing; Signalbehandling;

    Abstract : Popular Abstract in Swedish I den här avhandlingen studeras problem från två områden, medicin och kommunikation. Den medicinska delen behandlar skattning av Händelserelaterade signaler (Event-related Potentials, ERP). Dessa signal uppkomer i hjärnan då försökspersonen stimuleras via yttre påverkan, t. 5. 5. Modelling and Analysis of Interconnects for Deep Submicron Systems-on-Chip

    University dissertation from Kista : Mikroelektronik och informationsteknik

    Author : Dinesh Pamunuwa; KTH.; [2003]
    Keywords : delay and noise modelling in VLSI circuits; cross-talk; interconnect modelling; timing analysis; transfer function; on-chip bus; bandwidth maximization; throughput maximization; repeater insertion; wire optimization;

    Abstract : The last few decades have been a very exciting period in thedevelopment of micro-electronics and brought us to the brink ofimplementing entire systems on a single chip, on a hithertounimagined scale. However an unforeseen challenge has croppedup in the form of managing wires, which have become the mainbottleneck in performance, masking the blinding speed of activedevices. READ MORE
