    Abstract : Studies on Fantasmical Anatomies is an ongoing transdisciplinary artistic research, which encompasses the spectrum of experiences and practices that I have developed as a choreographer, dancer and Feldenkrais practitioner. My interest in anatomy and somatic practices grew out of multiple shoulder dislocations. READ MORE

  2. 2. Integration and efficiency in marketing systems

    Author : Lars-Gunnar Mattsson; Handelshögskolan i Stockholm; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : This study was inspired by some recent changes in organization and structure of the distributive trades in Sweden. Attention is focused on various aspects of integration in marketing systems consisting of retail and wholesale units. READ MORE

  3. 3. Using Molecular Dynamics Simulations to Explore Critical Property Relationships in Polymer Electrolytes : Polarity, Coordination, Ionic transport, Ion-pairing, and Ion-ion Correlations

    Author : Harish Gudla; Daniel Brandell; Chao Zhang; Andreas Heuer; Uppsala universitet; []

    Abstract : While ion transport in solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) has been explored for decades, there still remains controversies about its fundamental properties, often correlated with gaps between experimental and computational studies. Using molecular dynamics simulations to understand the complex transport mechanisms and also to fill these gaps is the main goal of this thesis. READ MORE

  4. 4. Constructing Poly(Ionic Liquid)s-Based Composite Solid State Electrolytes and Application in Lithium Metal Batteries

    Abstract : The pursuit of reliable and high-performance batteries has fueled extensive research into new battery chemistries and materials, aiming to enhance the current lithium-ion battery technologies in terms of energy density and safety. Among the potential advancements, solid-state batteries (SSBs) have captured significant attention as the next-generation energy storage technology. READ MORE

  5. 5. Metaphor as a mode of interpretation : An essay on interactional and contextual sense-making processes, metaphorology, and verbal arts

    Author : Claes Entzenberg; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Aesthetics; context; contextualization; active determination; interpretation; linguistic item; metaphor; sense-making; understanding; Estetik; Aesthetics; Estetik; Aesthetics; estetik;

    Abstract : This essay is an attempt to assess the oddity and importance of metaphor, both viewed as inseparable, internal aspects of the metaphorical sense-making activity. To outline the "challenge" of metaphor, arguments are made against the traditional approaches to metaphor, namely the idea that metaphor is a thing, an entity out there in the discourse or text, whose meaning is embedded within its discrete units and parts.
