21. A Study of Propane and Propene Ammoxidation over the Mo-V-Nb-Te-Oxide System
Abstract : The ammoxidation of propane is commonly regarded as being the future route for producing acrylonitrile, and the Mo-V-Nb-Te-oxide system studied here has thus far been seen as the most promising candidate for achieving this. Yields of up to 62% have been presented very elegantly in the patent literature. READ MORE

22. RhPt and Ni based catalysts for fuel reforming in energy conversion
Abstract : Although current trends in global warming are of great concern, energy demand is still increasing, resulting in increasing pollutant emissions. To address this issue, we need reliable renewable energy sources, lowered pollutant emissions, and efficient and profitable processes for energy conversion. READ MORE

23. Components of smart windows : Investigations of electrochromic films, transparent counter electrodes and sputtering techniques
Abstract : In smart windows, the transmittance of visible and near infrared radiation can be reversibly and persistently modulatcd by an applied voltage pulse (~2 V). The micrometer-thick multi-layer structure contains two electrodes capable of charge insertion. One of these electrodes must be electrochromic; usually it consists of tungsten oxide. READ MORE

24. Measurement and control of oxygen fugacity by means of gaseous oxygen buffers
Abstract : Fundamental and practical aspects of oxygen buffering are reviewed, with particular reference to the gaseous oxygen buffer as a tool in elevated temperature oxide chemistry. An oxygen buffer capacity concept and a classification scheme for oxygen buffers are proposed; their application is demonstrated. READ MORE

25. Use of Aqueous Slurries of Oxides for Ecocompatible Organic Synthesis
Abstract : There is a continuous interest and need of developing environmentally benign synthetic routes. Increased public awareness and more rigid environmental legislation have elevated the drive towards sustainable development and ecocompatible syntheses. READ MORE
