1. A class of infinite dimensional stochastic processes with unbounded diffusion
Abstract : The aim of this work is to provide an introduction into the theory of infinite dimensional stochastic processes. The thesis contains the paper A class of infinite dimensional stochastic processes with unbounded diffusion written at Linköping University during 2012. READ MORE

2. Hindered diffusion of nanoparticles
Abstract : Brownian theory provides us with a powerful tool which can be used to delve into a microscopic world of molecules, cells and nanoparticles, that was originally presumed to be beyond our reach. Consequently, modeling the inherent dynamics of a system through a Brownian transport equation is of relevance to several real-word problems that involve nanoparticles including, the transport and mitigation of particulate matter (PM) generated though fossil fuel combustion and nanocarrier mediated drug delivery. 3. Convection-diffusion equation in unbounded cylinder and related homogenization problems
Abstract : The thesis consists of two closely related papers (A and B). Paper A is concerned with the study of the behaviour at infinity of solutions to second order elliptic equation with first order terms stated in a half-cylinder. READ MORE

4. Homogenization of reaction-diffusion problems with nonlinear drift in thin structures
Abstract : We study the question of periodic homogenization of a variably scaled reaction-diffusion equation with non-linear drift of polynomial type. The non-linear drift was derived as hydrodynamic limit of a totally asymmetric simple exclusion process (TASEP) for a population of interacting particles crossing a domain with obstacle. READ MORE

5. A class of infinite dimensional stochastic processes with unbounded diffusion and its associated Dirichlet forms
Abstract : This thesis consists of two papers which focuses on a particular diffusion type Dirichlet form where Here is the basis in the Cameron-Martin space, H, consisting of the Schauder functions, and ν denotes the Wiener measure. In Paper I, we let vary over the space of wiener trajectories in a way that the diffusion operator A is almost everywhere an unbounded operator on the Cameron–Martin space.
