1. Admissible transformations and the group classification of Schrödinger equations
Abstract : We study admissible transformations and solve group classification problems for various classes of linear and nonlinear Schrödinger equations with an arbitrary number n of space variables. The aim of the thesis is twofold. READ MORE

2. Exact completion and type-theoretic structures
Abstract : This thesis consists of four papers and is a contribution to the study of representations of extensional properties in intensional type theories using, mainly, the language and tools from category theory. Our main focus is on exact completions of categories with weak finite limits as a category-theoretic description of the setoid construction in Martin-Löf's intensional type theory. READ MORE

3. Some Resolvent Estimates in Harmonic Analysis
Abstract : This thesis contains three papers about three different estimates of resolvents in harmonic analysis. These papers are: Paper 1. ``A Wiener tauberian theorem for weighted convolution algebras of zonal functions on the automorphism group of the unit disc'' Paper 2. ``Uniform spectral radius and compact Gelfand transform'' Paper 3. 4. Algebras of bounded holomorphic functions
Abstract : Some problems concerning the algebra of bounded holomorphic functions from bounded domains in Cn are solved. A bounded domain of holomorphy Q in C2 with nonschlicht i7°°- envelope of holomorphy is constructed and it is shown that there is a point in Q for which Gleason’s Problem for H°°(Q) cannot be solved. 5. Chordal and Complete Structures in Combinatorics and Commutative Algebra
Abstract : This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is concerned with the commutative algebra of certain combinatorial structures arising from uniform hypergraphs. The main focus lies on two particular classes of hypergraphs called chordal hypergraphs and complete hypergraphs, respectively. READ MORE
