21. Lipase and ω-Transaminase : Biocatalytic Investigations
Abstract : In a lipase investigation, Candida antarctica lipase B (CALB) are explored for enzyme catalytic promiscuity. Enzyme catalytic promiscuity is shown by enzymes catalyzing alternative catalytic transformations proceeding via different transition state structures than normal. READ MORE

22. Nonlinear dynamics of frequency sweeping energetic particle modes in tokamaks
Abstract : In a burning plasma, such as the next generation tokamak experiment ITER, significant numbers of highly energetic particles will be produced via nuclear reactions. The presence of energetic particles, be it fusion born alpha particles or ions accelerated by auxiliary heating schemes, may excite kinetic instabilities and thereby affect the heating and transport of all particles in the plasma. 23. Fill factor of organic solar cells and applications of dilute donor devices
Abstract : Organic solar cells (OSCs) have attracted great attention due to their low cost, flexibility and solution-processibility. In recent years, the development of nonfullerene acceptors (NFAs) has truly promoted the efficiency of OSCs up to 19%, implying high potential for commercial applications. READ MORE

24. Quantum Theory of Exciton-Exciton Interactions in Atomically Thin Semiconductors
Abstract : Atomically thin materials such as transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have emerged as an unprecedented platform for engineering future optoelectronic devices and studying exotic quantum phases of matter. In particular, the strong Coulomb interaction in these materials enables the formation of tightly-bound excitons, electron-hole pairs with neither purely fermionic nor bosonic character. READ MORE

25. A Kerr-full Study of Higher-Spin Amplitudes : An on-shell construction of higher-spin amplitudes for black holes and strings
Abstract : Recently, it was shown that Kerr black holes can be described via the classical infinite-spin limit of a special class of scattering amplitudes in a massive higher-spin quantum field theory. Although this approach has successfully obtained state-of-the-art results for spinning black-hole binaries, only the three-point amplitude that describes Kerr is known in full generality and a full understanding of the underlying Lagrangian is still missing.
