  1. 1. Small Clauses in Swedish : Towards a Unified Account

    Author : Katarina Lundin; Svenska; []
    Keywords : HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; ECM; object with infinitive; absolute construction; EPP; Agree; tense; matrix clause; periphrastic passive; light verbs; reflexive pronouns; participles; vP; TP; Small Clause; Nordiska språk språk och litteratur ; Scandinavian languages and literature; Merge; chain formation; object predicative; CP;

    Abstract : In this thesis I offer a unified syntactic account of the small clauses involved in Swedish object-with-infinitive constructions (ECM), object predicative constructions and absolute constructions. In the present framework, this similarity is conceptually appealing and is also supported by empirical data. READ MORE

  2. 2. Covalent Surface Modification of Degradable Polymers for Increased Biocompatibility

    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Vapor phase grafting; covalent surface modification; solvent free; nano patterned topography; degradable polymers; poly ε-caprolactone ; poly L-lactide ; poly lactide-co-glycolide ; poly trimethylene carbonate ; N-vinylpyrrolidone; maleic anhydride; acrylamide; Gasfasympning; kovalent ytmodifiering; lösningsmedelsfri; nedbrytbara polymerer; nanomönstrad topografi; poly L-laktid ; poly ε-kaprolakton ; poly laktid-co-glykolid ; poly trimetylen karbonat ; N-vinylpyrrolidon; maleinsyraanhydrid; akrylamid; Polymer chemistry; Polymerkemi;

    Abstract : Degradable polymers have gained an increased attention in the field of biomedical applications over the past decades, for example in tissue engineering. One way of improving the biocompatibility of these polymers is by chemical surface modification, however the risk of degradation during the modification procedure is a limiting factor. READ MORE

    Abstract : Gasfasympning är en del i den moderna strategin för optimering av den molekylära designen av biomaterial. Kovalent ytmodifiering med hydrofila vinylmonomerer och koppling med bioaktiva grupper används för att öka biokompatibiliteten och bioaktiviteten hos biomaterialen.. READ MORE

  4. 4. Differential object marking in South Saami

    Author : David Kroik; Mikael Vinka; Christian Waldmann; Kristin Melum Eide; Umeå universitet; []
    Keywords : HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; South Saami; Saami; Object Position; Saami Grammar; South Saami Grammar; Differential Object Marking; Generative Grammar; Syntax; Semantics; Morphology; Grammar; sydsamiska; samiska; sydsamisk grammatik; samisk grammatik; objektsposition; differentiell objektsmarkering; generativ grammatik; syntax; semantik; morfologi; grammatik; språkvetenskap; language studies;

    Abstract : This licentiate thesis investigates the case and the syntactic position of the direct object in South Saami. The focus is on plural direct objects, which have Differential Object Marking, a phenomenon in which the case alternates between different types of direct objects. READ MORE

  5. 5. Echocardiography/Doppler for the evaluation of coronary artery function, left ventricular function and the relationship between early diastolic and systolic function

    Author : Reidar Winter; Malmö Institutionen för kliniska vetenskaper; []
