1. The Weighted Space Odyssey
Abstract : The common topic of this thesis is boundedness of integral and supremal operators between weighted function spaces. The first type of results are characterizations of boundedness of a convolution-type operator between general weighted Lorentz spaces. READ MORE

2. Sharp Bounds for Calderón-Zygmund Operators in a Vector-Valued Setting
Abstract : In this thesis we extend several classical results about Calderón-Zygmund operators to spaces of vector-valued functions. We first obtain bounds for the norm of dyadic Haar shift operators using a Bellman function technique, and then apply the representation theorem to obtain corresponding results for general Calderón-Zygmund operators. 3. Invariant Subspaces in Spaces of Analytic Functions
Abstract : Let D be a finitely connected bounded domain with smooth boundary in the complex plane. We first study Banach spaces of analytic functions on D . The main result is a theorem which converts the study of hyperinvariant subspaces on multiply connected domains into the study of hyperinvariant subspaces on domains with fewer holes. READ MORE

4. Interpolation of Hilbert spaces
Abstract : (i) We prove that intermediate Banach spaces A, B with respect to arbitrary Hilbert couples H, K are exact interpolation iff they are exact K-monotonic, i.e. the condition f0∊A and the inequality K(t,g0;K)≤K(t,f0;H), t>0 imply g0∊B and ||g0||B≤||f0||A (K is Peetre's K-functional). 5. Studies of some Operators of Harmonic Analysis in certain Function Spaces with Applications to PDEs
Abstract : The study in this PhD thesis aims at development of certain mathematical methods used in applications, in particular, in the study of regularity properties of solutions in various mathematical models described by Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). To this end, we study various operators of harmonic analysis in certain function spaces, since solutions to many PDEs may be expressed in terms of such operators. READ MORE
