1. Metabolism of xenobiotics, reactive oxygen species and acyl-CoA in the rat and porcine ovary : with special emphasis on distribution and hormonal regulation
Abstract : .... READ MORE

2. Mutagenesis induced by xenobiotics : factors of importance and modification, with special emphasis on glutathione and glutathione transferases
Abstract : Genetic changes induced by chemical agents can result in cancer. Such tumor formation can be linked to activationof oncogenes, often through specific, definable mutagenic events, e.g., single base-pair mutation in specific codons. READ MORE

3. Exposure to xenobiotic chemicals disrupts metabolism, rhythmicity and cell proliferation in Drosophila melanogaster
Abstract : Most species are constantly exposed to xenobiotic chemicals through multiple routes. Among all categories of xenobiotics, phthalates and bisphenols are two of the most widely used plasticizers and can be found in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) materials, medical devices and even drinking water. 4. Xenobiotics-induced phosphorylations of MDM2
Abstract : The aim of the present study was to characterize the Mdm2 and p53 responses induced by DNA damaging xenobiotics and how these responses can be modified by non-genotoxic xenobiotics. During control conditions cellular levels of p53 are low. The level is regulated by Mdm2 and Mdm2 and p53 forms an autoregulatory loop. READ MORE

5. Accumulation and Composition of Gully Pot Sediments under Varying Anthropogenic Activities
Abstract : Gully pots (GPs) are an integral urban drainage component, contributing to conveying runoff from urban surfaces and reducing the load of solids and associated contaminants entering downstream piped systems and receiving waters. Over time, the silting-up of GPs impairs their hydraulic performance, increasing the risk of GP blockage-induced flood events and reducing solids retention performance. READ MORE
