1. The diagnostic potential of the He I D3 spectral line in the solar atmosphere
Abstract : The research question of my PhD is in a way a simple one: what can observations of the He I D3 line teach us about the solar chromosphere? This optical spectral line at 5876 Å is generally formed in the upper chromosphere, and is sensitive to the local magnetic field. The He I D3 line is also indirectly sensitive to heating of the transition region and corona, since it is resulting from a transition that occurs between levels in the triplet system of neutral helium. 2. Ruthenium(II) Polypyridyl Complexes : Applications in Artificial Photosynthesis
Abstract : Molecular mimics of PS II, which consist of a photosensitizer linked to electron acceptors/donors, are attractive candidates for the conversion of solar energy into chemical energy. Several different classes of sensitizers have been studied and among these, ruthenium(II) polypyridyl complexes continue to attract major attention. READ MORE

4. Concatemerization of Synthetic Oligonucleotides, Assembly on Surface and Ligand Interactions
Abstract : DNA nanotechnology has become an important research field because of its advantages in high predictability and accuracy of base-paring recognition. DNA concatemer, one of the simplest DNA constructs in shape, have been found as efficient signal amplifiers in several biosensors for different applications. READ MORE

5. Concatemerization of Synthetic Oligonucleotides
Abstract : DNA nanotechnology has become an important research field because of its advantages in high predictability and accuracy of base-paring recognition. For example, the DNA concatemer, one of the simplest DNA constructs in shape, has been used to enhance signals in biosensing. READ MORE
