   Abstract : The thesis included five methodological studies and one caries epidemiological investigation, the general aim being to study how to measure and report dental health, time for dental care, treatment panorama, and dental care outcomes, within a Public Dental Service organization. The specific aims were to monitor dental clinic activities using a time study method, to apply time study results of a dental health-related patient group system for the 3-19 year age groups, and to compare time study results with corresponding results from computerized systems used for reporting dental care.    Abstract : Young people and migrants are both prioritized groups regarding sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), but studies about the sexual andreproductive health (SRH) of young migrants in Sweden are scarce. The aim of this thesis was to study the SRH of young migrants in Sweden, and specifically to: 1) explore how do young migrants understand SRH, and how do they experience their sexual rights; and 2) examine how do young migrants perceive and experience the process of accessing SRH services, including their approachability, acceptability, adequacy and quality.    Abstract : The overall aim of the present thesis was to reveal nursing home (NH) caregivers’ work ex-periences when receiving support through education and clinical supervision over a two-year period, while the workplace was undergoing organizational changes. The studies (I-IV) com-bine qualitative and quantitative methods in a longitudinal two-year follow-up project in three Swedish NHs (NH I - III), in which support was given to the staff at NH I-II.    Abstract : This dissertation focuses on how perceptions of ethnicity and culture become meaningful in relation to the transition from care into independent living, studied from unaccompanied youths’, professionals’, and a methodological perspective. The findings from interviews with unaccompanied youth with experience of leaving care showed that thoughts about their ethnic minority background are constantly present in the young men’s lives.
