1. Synthesis and characterization of dendritic architectures
Abstract : The goal of this work was to synthesize different dendritic architectures and evaluate the effect from the dendrons on the material properties. The work presented in this licentiate thesis, Synthesis and Characterization of Dendritic Architectures, is divided into major parts. READ MORE

2. Dendrimers and dendronized polymers : synthesis and characterization
Abstract : The goal of this work was to synthesize complex macromolecular architectures such as dendrimers and dendronized polymers, and evaluate the effect from the dendrons on the optical and material properties. The work presented in this doctoral thesis, Dendrimers and Dendronized Polymers - Synthesis and Characterization, is divided into one minor and one major part. READ MORE

3. From Responsive Interfaces to Honeycomb Membranes by Controlled Radical Polymerisation
Abstract : In this study, surface modification of both organic and inorganic substrates (in terms of cellulose and silica nanoparticles, respectively) has been explored using surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerisation (ATRP). The desire to modify bio-based materials to fit into new application areas and the need for bio-based materials with improved material properties is steadily increasing due to environmental concern. 4. Predator-prey interactions of raptors in an arctic environment
Abstract : This thesis concerns the predator-prey interactions of three raptor species in a Swedish arctic community: the gyrfalcon (Falco rusticolus), the rough-legged buzzard (Buteo lagopus) and the golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos). The gyrfalcon behaved like a highly specialised ptarmigan (Lagopus spp.) predator. READ MORE

5. Studies of declining populations - temporal genetic analyses of two arctic mammals
Abstract : Many populations and species are threatened with extinction today. Understanding the extinction process and the factors behind population decline is therefore important. READ MORE
